Key advocate for Indigenous Business, David Chesterfield unfortunately passed away, leaving a scholarship in his memory.
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, headquartered in Brisbane, employees more than 1,000 people across Australia.
David Chesterfield was a key advocate for Indigenous business, and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator has agreed to fund a cadet through Ethan Indigenous ongoing in his name. The cadet, currently being funded under the David Chesterfield Scholarship, is working at NHVR, developing his professional skills as an employee.
Program Director Troy Thorne says “This is a really special way to commemorate the memory and life of David. This scholarship makes tangible change in the lives of others, and in that way, David lives on”.
Ethan Indigenous has also delivered a number of strategic IT projects that enable and underpin the NGVR.
