The world famous zoo, Taronga and Ethan Indigenous develop an app which monitors animals in recovery post bushfires.

Divided into several zoogeographic sections, the 69 acre zoo is home to more than 5,000 animals of approximately 350 species. Amongst the zoo’s projects, Targona is creating a new Wildlife Hospital, which will provide rehabilitation to koalas, platypuses, and raptors. The Wildlife Hospital will be open to the public for viewing, giving zoo-goers behind-the-scenes insight into animal rehabilitation.

Ethan Indigenous supports Taronga in their mission through developing an application where the recovery of animals can be monitored. They are also all IT infrastructure and services.

CEO and Co-Founder Tony Geagea says “Projects like the ones we’re working on with the zoo, make what we do that much more satisfying. We’re super proud and extremely honoured that Taronga chose Ethan Indigenous, and recognises our focus on conserving the culture and history of Australia’s natives”.
