The not-for-profit training organisation, MEGT has selected Ethan Indigenous for their IT supply, with a twist.

Based in Melbourne, MEGT is a group training organisation that has worked with more than 450,000 businesses, and over 1.5 million Australians find work. This includes over 700,000 apprenticeship completions and over 7,000 people with disability.

Not only did MEGT select Ethan Indigenous to supply their IT, with end user computing design and management—they employed an Ethan Indigenous Cadet to do the project.

Ethan Indigenous’ Cadet Program helps Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders gain professional experience in the IT industry with no work experience required. It provides youths with face-to-face, hands-on work experience in a professional IT environment, where they’re mentored and developed.

Program Director, Troy Thorne says “It’s a unique partnership working with MEGT, being able to both provide them with their IT as well as being able to place one of our cadets in house to manage their supply”.
