Coffs Harbour hosted the 24th Local Government Information Technology Conference (LGIT2024), and Ethan came to the table creating awareness around the Indigenous employment gap.
This annual event is a significant gathering for Local Government Managers & Support Staff from across Australia. Taking the opportunity to speak directly with influential members in local government about the issues the Indigenous community face, Ethan helped members understand the importance of creating jobs that invest back into these communities
Ethan CEO and Co Founder Tony Geagea says “Our cadet program creates jobs for Indigenous youth interested in working in the IT industry, with no experience and sometimes skills required. We train them on the job and provide them with certifications and training in the process. Programs like these directly address community employment gaps”.
